Hi! I'm Tiffany,

Welcome to CHOOCHOO-ca-CHEW
where I share food adventures

I’m a visual storyteller who loves sharing food and culture through the lens of photography.
Fun facts about me: I was born and raised in Taiwan, moved to Rochester MN, a small town (comparing to Taipei), a few years ago to learn more about life on the other side of the globe (literally). You’ll always find me in the kitchen or a hole-in-the-wall eatery with a camera strapped to me while I cook or eat, wandering around markets, supporting small local businesses, looking for creative makers or artists, and sipping cortados at third wave coffee shops. If I were in Taiwan, you’ll also find me in the ocean free diving or surfing.
I absolutely love learning about food businesses and help them tell their stories visually and share them with the world.

Milk fish(虱目魚 shīmùyú) is a quintessential Taiwanese fish. They are raised in abundance in south of Taiwan and is popular on dining tables- no part of the fish is wasted, not even the heads! How do you eat a fish’s head you ask? I’ll show you in this YouTube video!
